DuFour
Cherie DuFour - Vocals, Guitar

Cherie had traveled many roads in music and starting by performing regularly by the age of 13. A New Orleans Native, She played many genres of music from Funk to Jazz which helped add the unique flavors of sounds that bleed into the original music. Cherie has played with and opened up for artists such as Charmaine Neville, CoCo Robicheaux and Zebra. She continues to push the pocket with a very unique rhythmic groove bringing that psychedelic crooked funk to the table.

Glenn Tapia - Bass

Glenn Tapia first began on the bass in high school after stumbling on the instrument at the recommendation of his band teacher for a single gig. After several college years of attempting rock stardom with an electric guitar, Glenn realized that his true musical place was in the low end - at the bottom of the groove. Glenn is inspired by pocket players like George Porter, Jr, Chuck Rainey, Bootsie Collins, and James Jamerson. Glenn has also derived inspiration from many of the local bass players featured at the bass slam in '08 as well. Glenn has also grown a strong appreciation for the new generation of bassists like Adam Nitti, Oteill Burbridge and the like.

Ned Cop - Drums, Percussion

Ned Cop, also a Louisiana native, was born and raised in Baton Rouge. Ned began playing drums at the age of 12 with the influences of the New Orleans funky, jazzy grooves. Over the course of years of drumming, Ned has developed a funky, groovin, solid pocket. His influences include Stanton Moore, Johnny Vidacovich, Zigaboo Modeliste and Chick Webb.

Ned says... "It's all about the pocket. The pulse. Drums make people move. Drums make people dance and convulse into trance-like states of hysteria. Dats what it's all about."
